Plumber in Silverdale, WA

Silverdale is more than another community we serve. It’s home.

Since 1975, Silverdale Plumbing has helped homeowners throughout Silverdale and the surrounding Kitsap Peninsula take care of the plumbing systems they depend on every day. During that time, Silverdale has grown from a much smaller community into one of Kitsap County’s primary residential, retail, and service centers.

The community may have changed, but our approach hasn’t. We believe in doing quality work, communicating clearly, and helping homeowners find the right solution for their property.

Proud to Call Silverdale Home

Silverdale Plumbing has served Kitsap County since 1975. As a family-owned company, we’ve seen communities like Poulsbo grow and change while helping homeowners maintain, repair, and update the plumbing systems behind their homes.

That experience matters in a community with such a varied housing landscape. A plumbing problem in an established neighborhood may require a very different solution than the same symptoms in a newer home. We take the time to understand the problem, explain the options, and recommend a solution based on the property rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach.

A Community With Many Generations of Plumbing

One thing that makes plumbing in Silverdale interesting is how much the community has changed.

Old Town traces its history to the late 1800s, while much of Silverdale’s residential and commercial expansion occurred considerably later. Growth accelerated particularly after the development of Naval Base Kitsap-Bangor and the opening of Kitsap Mall in 1985.

The infrastructure serving the area has evolved along with it. The Silverdale Water District, for example, was established in 1929. Its original 1930 system served just 60 customers and included wood-stave transmission and distribution mains. Today, the district reports more than 831,000 feet of potable water main and more than 8,600 service connections.

That history helps illustrate why plumbing in Silverdale isn’t one-size-fits-all. An established home near Old Town may have very different plumbing considerations than a home in Ridgetop or a newer residential area.

Sometimes the problem is straightforward, such as a failing water heater or leaking fixture. Other times, recurring drain problems, unexplained water use, reduced pressure, or wet areas outside the home may be signs that a sewer or water line deserves a closer look.

Finding the source of the problem first allows us to recommend a repair based on what the system actually needs.

Local Experience That Goes Beyond the Address

Being local means more to us than having Silverdale in our name. It means serving the same community where our company has built its reputation for more than five decades.

  • Family-owned and serving the area since 1975
  • Licensed and insured plumbing professionals
  • Upfront pricing and clear recommendations
  • Experience with both everyday repairs and larger plumbing projects
  • Respect for your home and property throughout the job

We want homeowners to understand the problem, know their options, and feel comfortable with the work being performed.
