BACKFLOW TESTING AND CERTIFICATION

Silverdale Plumbing provides backflow prevention device installation, repair, testing, and certification.

Wondering why you have to have your backflow device(s) tested every year? Annual backflow device testing protects the water supply ensuring that it remains pure, clean, & safe from possible sources of contamination. The State of Washington requires annual backflow testing to ensure the safety of the public water system from harmful toxins such as fertilizers, weed killers, fire protection chemicals, X-Ray developer and other potential contaminants. Backflow devices are usually found on irrigation systems, fire sprinkler systems, boilers, soda fountain & ice machines, and any X-Ray equipment.

To help maintain compliance with state regulations, we will mail you an annual reminder when your backflow device(s) are due for testing. The test results are forwarded to the appropriate water purveyor and sent to you for your records. Our testing equipment is top-of-the-line and is calibrated annually. Discounts are available for facilities with multiple backflow devices.
